Refined Notes (Short Notes that covers all information provided on raw notes)
  1. 8085 microprocessor [10.8 MB]
  2. Basics of code building & instructions in 8086 [8.2 MB]
  3. 8086 –Block diagram, Addressing Modes [13.6 MB]
  4. Procedure and Macros [2.59 MB]
  5. Interfacing à 8255,8251,8254,8259,8257,8279  [13.8 MB]
  6. 80386 Microprocessor  [3.5 MB]
Few Points that are not covered in Notes
  • Difference between 8088 and 8086 processor is that 8088 is advance version of 8086 that can support 8-bit peripherals but 8086 can’t .8086 not support 8-bit peripherals because it is a 16-bit and peripheral available are 8-bit.Due to which in 8086 has more than 8 address lines unlike 8088.As a result of which information stored in even bank of memory that covers 16-bit whose data is not reflected in peripheral. Also the last digit of microprocessor 808signifies 8-bit.
  • Flag register in 8086 is a 16-bit .
