Ramgopal Rao patent no. 6,067247  and patent is only licienced to Siemens Aktiengesellschaft i.e only siemens can develop the ic's of sram as far as i guess.But, i have seen there is a work happening on improving a design .in order to achieve new design by EDA companiese so that they can earn.

• Not needs timely refreshment
• Flash Meomory (sometime inside intel processor) 
• Some time also call it as cache

• Non volatile
• Inside processor
• Contains application and operating system detail
• Pendrives also contain flash meomory but they are low performance

SSD

Features of DRAM

• Non Volatile
• Range from 10gb to 20gb
• Faster than Hardisk
• Costlier than hardisk

Hardisk

Features of DRAM

• Non Volatile
• These also store digital data but in magnetic disk
