You might have buyied your smartphones and when you look at its specification it says  CPU-Quad core-Cortex some model number ,GPU -adreno some model number ,Chipset-Snapdragon some model number.

Here what is chipset?
It is basically the board in which you will insert your chips .for eg a chip of CPU,chip of GPU.


Now what is a difference b/w CPU and GPU
CPU-central Processing Unit-perform instruction one by one
GPU-Graphical Processing Unit- Only responsible to present awesome Graphics very fast.
